Linday Lohan under house arrest

Linday Lohan under house arrestTroubled actress Lindsay Lohan, who showed up three weeks early at Los Angeles` Lynwood Jail, is now under house arrest.

A website reports that she was immediately determined eligible to serve her time at home, so she was fitted with an electronic ankle bracelet Thursday and released.

She is now at her home in Venice, California, but cannot leave until June 29.

"She is now confined to the interior premises of her home at all times," said Steve Whitmore, the Los Angeles Sheriff`s spokesman.

The actress was last month ordered to to undertake three years probation, serve 120 days in jail and complete 480 hours of community service for jewelry theft and breaching the terms of her 2007 probation.

Home detention aims to reduce the prison population by allowing non-violent offenders to serve out their sentences in home confinement.

Lohan, who pleaded no contest to stealing a $2,500 necklace, had until June 17 to report to the prison but it is thought she wanted to do it sooner rather than later so she can begin shooting her new movie, "Gotti: three Generations"

Lady gaga weird about superstitions sex

Lady gaga weird about superstitions sexSinger Lady Gaga, who recently split from boyfriend Luc Carl, says for a long time she was not comfortable with love making.

She also thinks that she had to learn to love herself before loving anyone else, reports contactmusic.com.

"I was very insecure for a very long time. I didn't know that I would be very comfortable with it and it wasn't until very recently that I actually enjoyed sex. I was talking with my sister about how it's not until you really love yourself that you can give love to others," the 25-year-old told metro.us.

Gaga, in the past, also admitted that she has weird superstitions about sex.

"I have weird superstitions about sex. If you're not having sex with someone who really loves you they can screw up your energy. I think sometimes if you are promiscuous and are just sleeping around that people can take things from you. I think it's always important to be making love," she said.

Tilda Swinton says birth is 'violent'

Tilda Swinton says birth is 'violent'Tilda Swinton claims Hollywood glamorises childbirth, when in fact it is a ''violent'' experience for women.

Tilda Swinton thinks childbirth is "violent"

The 50-year-old actress - who has 13-year-old twins Honor and Xavier with partner John Byrne - believes Hollywood glamorises birth, which is actually a "murderous" experience.

She said: "In movies, and particularly in television films, when people have babies they are sitting in a hospital room and there are flowers everywhere.

"They are made up, magically, and they have a baby in their arms and it's all really lovely. They start getting pink baby clothes. It's a truly, truly murderous business. It's violent."

The Oscar-winning actress - who portrays a mother who fails to bond with her son in forthcoming movie 'We Need to Talk About Kevin' - thinks women who are unable to "embrace" the nature of child birth may find themselves "up a gum tree" because of how hard it is.

Speaking at the Cannes Film Festival, she said: "If one doesn't embrace that [violence], if one can't embrace it - and it's really tough to do that - then you're up a gum tree because it means you're going to be cutting off a whole part of yourself."
