Christina Ricci wants to reinvent herself as a big budget action star.
The actress confesses she was bitten by the action bug while starring in racecar thriller Speed Racer - and she is calling on directors to offer her more high-impact roles.
She says, "I just did Speed Racer. There's a lot of action and fighting. I really got into it.
"Ever since then I want to be an action star. I'm too small to be a reasonable action star. But I can be a spy, because it's good to be small if you're a spy. Because I can fit into small spaces.
"I also want to play a cop. I also wanna have that uniform".
Pop singer Mariah Carey has admitted that she would love to have kids.
In an interview with E! Entertainment Radio, XM and Sirius, the 38 year old singer expressed her desire to have kids.
"Obviously having a kid is a commitment for life," E! News quoted Carey as saying.
"I really would have to be very, very positive that I was in a place where I could completely focus and put everything into the job of being someone's mommy cause it's hard enough to have a puppy," she added.
Hello, Norma Jean. Again. Marilyn Monroe has been gone for more than 45 years, but she's with us now as ever, thanks to the never-ending string of women and a few men for whom she is an inspiration, or just a costume. The latest wanna-be, Lindsay Lohan, went for the Marilyn of "The Last Sitting," a gutsy move given that it was the last photo shoot before Monroe died of a drug overdose, and Lohan knows a thing or two about substance abuse. Lohan, newly sprung from rehab, was clearly trying to alert Hollywood that she's back in the business, but will it work? Hard to say. Judging by these pictures, Lindsay is no Marilyn. In fact, we rounded up other Monroe imitators who we think do the job at least as well as Lohan. But you be the judge.
Jessica Alba was bullied and branded a "slut" when she was in school after developing her full bosom at a young age.
The actress revealed that the main culprits were her classmates' "self-righteous" mothers and her elementary school principal, who made her life miserable.
Writing in 'If I'd Known Then' a forthcoming book of essays by female celebrities Alba writes: "The accusation still ricochets. They think I'm a slut?'"
Revealing her first kiss at the age of 7, Alba also handed out advice to teenaged girls, urging them to have safe sex. "Boys are awful. They are made of nothing but hormones until they're about 20 or 21," she wrote.
"It's fun to have a crush, but don't think it's forever," Alba added. The essay collection, set for publication this spring, features letters by famous women, 35 or younger, written to their younger selves. Contributors include Olympic soccer gold medallist Julia Foudy, activist Zainab Salbi and actress Danica McKellar.
A body found in the river Seine is believed to be that of former top model Katoucha who disappeared near her houseboat in Paris earlier this month, French police said.
She had been missing since returning to the houseboat moored near the city centre after a party earlier this month.
"There are indications that it is indeed her, but we are awaiting the results of forensic tests before we can confirm it officially," a police spokesman said.
Katoucha, aged 47 and originally from Guinea, was one of the first black African models to become a global catwalk star in the 1980s.
She modeled for designers including Yves Saint-Laurent and Christian Lacroix.
Born Katoucha Niane, she became a campaigner against genital mutilation, a procedure she underwent herself at the age of nine.
Paris Hilton posed topless, in just a hat and a pair of Calvin Klein panties, for the February issue of the US magazine 944.
For the color coordinated photo shoot Hilton used green eye makeup to go with the green digits of '944' and wore peacock feather earrings.
Despite the fact that it is Paris Hilton who is posing, the overall effect is eye catching and tasteful. There is no denying her excellent body tone and good figure.
The former inmate may not have lived up to her post jail promise of visiting Rwanda but we give her credit for working hard and making a living, albeit largely by shedding her clothes.
The last thing she would want to do after such raunchy photo shoots would be to end up back in jail.
Paris had hosted 944 Magazine pre-Super Bowl Party on Thursday night, January 31.
Britney Spears' paparazzo boyfriend Adnan Ghalib has stunned his friends by insisting the singer is expecting his baby.
Pals of the British-born photographer claim he targetted Spears in a bid to make her pregnant, and is bragging that he has succeeded.
The claims appear in the current edition of U.S. magazine Star, alongside pictures of Spears with what appears to be a bulging tummy.
A friend tells the magazine, "Britney is Adnan's dream come true. He knows that if he has a child with her, he'd be made for life.
"Adnan is a social climber who uses women to get what he wants".
Ghalib has previously revealed Spears really thought she was pregnant with his child when they were snapped buying pregnancy tests in January 2008
